A Birthday Card Worth Investigating
Jennifer Kotas
Hello! Jen back today with a detective themed birthday card using the It’s No Mystery Stamp & Cut from the new Case Closed Collection.

1. Ink over the Houndstooth Layering Stencils on white cardstock using Fawn and Cup o’ Joe Core Inks.
2. Remove stencils and blend over panel without reinking. Add Espresso Core Ink to corners. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Stamp the sentiments from the It’s No Mystery Stamp and Cut with Espresso Core Ink. Die cut with coordinating dies.
4. Stamp two thumbprints from the Miss Detective Stamp and Cut with Espresso Core Ink and die cut with coordinating die.

5. Die cut the pieces from the Magnifying Die Set out of Truffle ColorWheel Cardstock, a Clear Card Panel and Matte Metallic Gold Cardstock. Assemble with Precision Glue XL then add adhesive foam around frame and down handle.
6. Using the stamped pieces for placement, determine where magnifying glass will go then add a small amount of gold sequins in that spot. Place magnifying glass over sequins.

7. Adhere sentiments and thumbprints to card with foam adhesive except for the one over the magnifying glass.
8. Finish with several gold sequins throughout card.
